It took 1 month to come which is crazy long in my opinion. They did come in good shape though. Obviously if your getting a box set expect some dents on the corners. Since there was some. But all in all it came in good enough shape. Only downfall is the time. 4/5 can’t wait to read!!great price for a great seriesGOATCame in good condition a ding or two on the box but it has everything it described!Been anime only with one piece and between wanting to support the series and being impatient on the anime I decided to start reading the manga. This box set is great and has the first two arcs in it. Great value for the price plus includes the original Romance Dawn story. Only complaint I have with this, I assume is the same for the single manga books as well is that some of the pages seems to be cut short. They match the cover size fine but letters are chopped off the panels on some pages like they werent centered on the page before being trimmed or they werent on the trimmer correctly when trimmed. Small complaint it's not hard to know what was meant, just a noticeable flaw.It seems long overdue and I was overjoyed when I discovered that this box set was finally to be released. This set comprises the first two major story arcs in the One Piece saga in close to 4500 pages, and roughly one third of the total volumes of One Piece published at the time of its release. Extra gems that are included are: the pre-serial short story 'Romance Dawn' which explains the relationship between Luffy and Red Hair 'Shanks', and an A4 poster. The printing and binding quality on each of the volumes is decent and the artwork is displayed in crisp detail. Chapters read right to left to maintain the original arwork layouts (as opposed to mirroring the images to make them read left to right in a Western style). The box itself is sturdily constructed in a (inexplicably) travel-friendly format with a door/flap that folds over the spines of the books and a plastic handle on top. Special attention to the ergonomics of the use of the box (such as leaving spaces above the volumes so that they can be easily taken out of the box) and reinforcement in the right places to make the box strong enough to carry impressed me. The only drawback is that the door/flap hides the books from view, which isn't ideal for displaying the box set on a book shelf. I'm also not sure why the box was constructed to be travel-friendly and have considered cutting away the flap. The designs on the spines of the books also aren't quite level, which makes them look a little irregular and untidy. All in all the set represents Eiichiro Oda's beautiful artwork at a reasonable quality in an inexpensive format and as such is everything one would expect from a box set like this. There are however aspects regarding the design of the box set itself that one might not particularly like.I love this series and was able to pick this up for $150 a while back.honestly so surprised and wonderfully happy in the condition it came in. was nicely packaged and there was no damage to the box, everything was squeaky clean. although, i do have to point out on of my manga looked like it was low-key bent, but still looked in new condition. also surprisingly there were no duplicates in the box set as i've heard that people received duplicate volumes, so grateful mine didn't end up like that. have been watching and reading one piece for a long time, so overall happy with the purchase and would recommend this to other one piece fans!!!Well no, unfortunately Whitebeard's famous last words aren't true but this box set is an amazing purchase for any OP fan, that I can guarantee you!For the record I'm a long term diehard OP fan, who's been following the series for nearly a decade now and like a lot of fans I got into the series initially via various internet scanlations often with dodgy translations. Back then buying individual volumes was difficult, inefficient and expensive .... however this boxset represents FANTASTIC value for money (~£3.50 per volume) and a convenient and tidy way (the box is amazing and lets you store the volumes!) to purchase and forever keep a large quantity of volumes on the cheap, legally. In fact, I've also subsequently bought boxsets 2 & 3 which take me to the timeskip and I'm eagerly waiting for boxset 4 covering the early parts of the New World.I'm not going to moralise or criticise people who prefer to read scanlations instead because god forbid I have in the past but I do seriously implore those OP fans who do have the financial capabilities to purchase this to do so and support the series in order to keep it going. Not that OP or Oda Sensei are in any danger as One Piece as is a behemoth and a giant in terms of popularity!!!Missing Vol 21,22 and 23 and repeats vol 4,5 and 6. kids are bit disappointed but waiting for replacement.I ordered this after being told not to as it would have came - damaged, mishandled or missing books/duplicate books. There was nothing wrong with my delivery, 10/10 handled with care. Not a single scratch on the box or a dent. I have provided a picture of all the books and not a single one of them has been creased, torn or mishandled either. A 10/10 purchase and a GREAT read for a GREAT anime!!!(Manga)(9/10)Okay so I've only read about 17 volumes so far but I'm glad to say that I love it. it did start quite slow, especially before Sanji shows up, but everything after that has been nothing but amazing(9/10)(Amazon)(4/5) This isn't really an issue with Amazon but the velcro tabs to keep the box closed weren't stuck down well enough, fixed easy with some glue tho!My son loved it. Only £3-4 per volWhen you buy this box set.My son loved baroque works.Would recommend to any one piece fan to buy this
